This year, it will be celebrated on May 10, 2024 in Australia. The day is considered highly auspicious for starting new ventures and making investments, as it is believed that any investment made on this day will bring prosperity and success.

Akshaya Tritiya is also associated with several mythological legends. According to one legend, on this day, on this day, Lord Parshuram, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born.

Speaking of Lord Parshuram, his birth anniversary, Parshuram Jayanti, is another auspicious occasion celebrated by Hindus with great devotion. Parshuram Jayanti falls on the third day of the Shukla Paksha (bright half) of the Hindu month of Vaishakha, which coincides with Akshaya Tritiya.

Parshuram is considered one of the greatest warriors and sages in Hinduism.
